Prenetics Royal International Horse Show 2021

With just BE Khalissy to jump and a heatwave we spent very few hours at Hickstead, being anxious to keep Khalissy hydrated and out of the heat as much as possible.
On Tuesday she jumped well in the first six year old qualifier on the perfect grass in ring two for a couple of green mistakes. Day two brought a similar story on the all-weather in ring four and she qualified for the final in the main ring. The course for the final was big and strong, but Khalissy worked in very well, trotted into the ring quietly and confidently and having jumped the first fence well then felt very green. We jumped four fences and pulled up. She is a lovely horse and has many years of good results in front of her.
It was great to be back jumping in front of spectators and with a fair number of trade stands.
